10-13 (82) 02/24/2003 9:00p
I didn’t know that “fount” was a word. I’d never heard the phrase “more than the bag.” Then I watched this episode. Educational!
Yokas: You’re still smirking.
Bosco: I am?
Yokas: Yeah, it’s your “getting some” smirk.
Sully: You’re not gonna spank me, are you Louie?
Bosco: Is this some kind of joke? Get 40 cops here for nothing?
Cruz: Oh, I’m guessing it’s not for nothing.
{when they see the robbed fur store}
Yokas: Wow.
Bosco: Cruz was right.
Yokas: She’s a genius.
{when they see the robbed fur store}
Yokas: I’m never going home.
Yokas: When you’re responding to a 10-13 you know it’s only going to take a few seconds to get there. But when you’re the one that’s calling for help it feels like forever.
{about Bosco}
Davis: What’s with him?
Yokas: I don’t know. He’s got this new girlfriend. I think it’s starting to melt his brain.
Kim: I told them I don’t believe you did it.
Carlos: You did? Is that true?
Kim: I told you I wasn’t going to lie.
{to Joy}
Doc: With my luck I’ll meet your mom and realize I dated her in high school.
Bosco: What the hell’s this guy’s problem?
Yokas: It’s a red light! What the hell is your problem?
Sully: Now you got a problem with me being sick?
Davis: No, I got a problem covering for you while you’re on a bender.
Sully: I was sick.
Davis: And I’m a supercop. Why don’t we just leave it at that.
Doc: Any Funkadelic fan is a friend of mine.
Sully: My contract with the city says that I get a meal period.
Davis: You’ll get your damn mean, Sul.
{about Cruz}
Yokas: She’s a regular fount of wisdom.
{about Cruz}
Yokas: I’d like to see how she feels when it’s her ass that’s getting kicked.
Davis: I hear you got a gun, Paco. That makes me a little nervous. Nervous isn’t good.
Yokas: Don’t you think you made a pretty quick decision?
Cruz: Are you questioning that, officer?
Yokas: Yeah, I guess I am.
{to Cruz}
Yokas: You make me sick.
Cruz: I am the Anti-Crime sergeant. We lock people up. That is our job.
Yokas: Yeah. Yeah, I’ve seen you do your job up close. It’s very impressive.
Cruz: You don’t walk away from me.
Yokas: You’re not my sergeant.
Cruz: I say anything about being a sergeant?
Bosco: All right, you know what? Let me talk to her Sarge.
Cruz: {to Bosco} Why don’t you watch the door.
Yokas: {laughing} What? Are you gonna beat me up now?
Bosco: We’re in the middle of a hospital.
Yokas: Yeah. No witnesses. I might make some sort of dying declaration.
Cruz: We’re not finished.
Yokas: I’m shaking.
{Cruz walks out}
Yokas: {to Bosco} Your hero.
{seeing Sully’s bruises}
Davis: That didn’t happen when Paco hit you, did it?
Sully: Well, I fell in the shower this morning.
Davis: Right. Was that before or after you slept wrong Sul?
{to Davis}
Sully: I always said you were more than the bag.
{to Sully}
Davis: I was always pretty happy riding with you. Learning from you, but, uh, I don’t know you anymore, man. I tried to help you. I tried to get you to let me in, and you bit me for it, and it’s cool. I understand. I understand…I know you’ve been through the worst kind of hell, but you can’t just--- Sul, I can’t help you if you won’t let me. But at the same time, I’m not just gonna stand around and just watch you go down. I can’t do it. I can’t. I tried. I’m sorry, I can’t. So, um, I got to move on. And it’s not about being more than the bag. It’s not. It’s about getting away from you.
{about the furs, to the guy whole stole the furs}
Cruz: Judge is gonna love these.
Bosco: I got this Anti-Crime thing going, it’s working pretty good for me, but after what you did today…I don’t know man.
Yokas: After what I did? A sergeant comes after me wanting to fight and I did something wrong?
Yokas: Nobody should say anything about your little Anti-Crime girlfriend! {pauses} Oh, my God.
Bosco: What? What?
Yokas: Oh, my God. She’s the girlfriend.
Bosco: No.
Yokas: You’re lying.
Bosco: I wouldn’t lie.
Yokas: You already lied.
{to Davis}
Sully: Look, I, uh, understand you wanting to wash your hands of me. I don’t blame you. But, uh, you can’t do that right now…’cause I need your help.
