SUPERHEROS: PART: II (59) 03/04/2002 9:00p
Now it's time to clean up the mess. And what a mess it is.
{To Sergei, about Davis}
Sully: If he dies, you’re gonna wish they killed you with that baseball bat!
{Everyone is at Mercy after the shootout}
Doc: Faith, you okay?
Yokas: Yeah, peachy.
Yokas: Hey Doc, Thanks for pretending like there was something that could be done for Ross.
{Chevchenko is talking about handcuffs}
Chevchenko: You will remove now please?
Yokas: No, I will not remove now please.
Chevchenko: Women police. They find you useful?
Yokas: Most days.
Chevchenko: It is most important to be useful.
Yokas: I’ll try to keep that in mind.
{to Chevchenko}
Yokas: Judging someone like you unworthy is an easy call.
{about the witness, who is now dead, on top of a car}
Beth: So, did he jump or was he pushed?
Yokas: What, are you guessing? You think that’s gonna help? What are you detectives doing? You like taking a poll? You going around asking all the sector cops to vote? How’s it going, huh Beth? Homicide? Suicide?
{to Beth, about the witness, Mr. Doleska}
Yokas: You know what I think? I think that it doesn’t make a difference how he died. I think he was alive this morning and now he’s dead. And I don’t know about you, but I feel more than a little responsible.
{to Sully}
Davis: You apologize I might have to get pissed off, you know? I might have to get pissed off that you almost got me killed so you could prove to your wife that your Johnson’s bigger than some skel’s. And that you wouldn’t listen to me when all I wanted you to do was slow down and think for a minute. You know I’m gonna follow you. You know that right? All right, well that means you have to think about where you take us and you didn’t do that today. Didn’t happen. Now, if you apologize I’m gonna have to get pissed off about all that and I don’t feel like being pissed off right now. I’m too tired.
{about the flags outside the police station}
Yokas: I’m tired of seeing these flags at half staff.
{to Sully, about Sergei}
Yokas: Your stepson may be the only living witness.
{about Chevchenko}
Yokas: This guy isn’t just gonna sit around and wait for us to pick him up at our leisure.
Beth: I don’t know what you want me to tell you Faith.
Yokas: I want you to tell me that today wasn’t all for nothing!
Yokas: I’m gonna make sure you go to prison one day.
Chevchenko: Why are American women so angry?
Yokas: I’ll find somebody who’s not afraid of you.
Chevchenko: Why would anyone be afraid of me?
Yokas: I’m not afraid of you.
Chevchenko: Then maybe someday we could be friends.
Yokas: …And when they lock you up, I want to be the one to close the cell door.
Chevchenko: You do your best, Officer Yokas.
Chevchenko: In this country it is the survival of the fittest. I am fittest.
Bosco: Thank you, for being there.
{Bosco walks away}
Yokas: Absolutely.
Jerry: …But I never forgot what it’s like out there. And I would have never done anything to hurt you.
Doc: Well, I had to be sure.
Jerry: You used to be sure about that.
Yokas: Fred, I killed him. But then I didn’t even remember that--- I killed somebody today.
