A look into just how much work goes into this website:

QUOTES: I watch the episode rewinding frequently to get the quotes written down exactly as they are said by the characters. It usually takes well over an hour to do this. After that I type up however many pages of quotes and then add the html and paste them into the site.

SCREEN CAPTURES: I import the video to my computer. The episodes are an hour long, so it takes an hour to do it. If there was a shorter way to do that, I'd do it. But let's be honest, screen captures of fast-forwarding video wouldn't be nearly as nice as the ones I put up now. After that I watch the episode and take the caps, so another 45 minutes. Then I've got to narrow down the caps [usually I start with well over 100 per episode] to get rid of the bad, repeated, dark, ugly, useless, accidental, or unclear ones. And to save some space. After that into iPhoto they go to be reduced. Sometimes, when I'm feeling "advanced," I use Photoshop for this. After that they're uploaded to the site. Then the html for the caps page has to be typed up, so that you can see them properly.

AUDIO: From the imported video I have to extract the audio clips, convert them to mp3s, upload them, and then write the html so that you can see and click on that fun little ear.

I love working on this website, and the point of me writing this was simply to let everyone get a look at what goes into this site. So when something doesn't happen instantly, remember what's written above before you go into a fit of e-mailing me. If you're going to like, die or go to jail, or something, then e-mailing me and telling me to hurry the hell up is acceptable. I understand if you need your TW fix before you're hauled off the the big house.
