GOODBYE TO CAMELOT (132) 5/06/2005 9:00p
The final episode. Ever. R.I.P.
{over radio}
Swersky: Five-Lieutenant to Central. 10-13! Shots fired! We need those units forthwith, Central! The precinct is under attack! Repeat, the precinct is under attack!
Stu: This is a great movie.
Firefighter: Define great.
Stu: Mainly a lot of stuff blowing up.
{after hearing a loud explosion}
DK: You guys wanna lower that?
Stu: That wasn't the movie.
Marcel: Yo! Yo! I need help up here. Sergeant Cruz is stuck. She's trapped, yo!
Bernie: They make a run, it's my ass, not yours.
Sully: Another couple of minutes, Bernie, and all of our asses are gonna be fried!
Cruz: Go! I'm ordering you! Go!
Monroe: What are you gonna do, write me up?
{to the Doctor}
Finney: I really wanna sleep with my girlfriend tonight. It's just like home, right?
Swersky: Where are you going?
Bosco: I'm going to see who's shooting at us.
Swersky: Come out back so we can regroup.
Bosco: Come on, Boss. You gonna let somebody attack the house?
Davis: He's right, Lieu.
Bosco: Well, whoever it was, they must be gone. Or he wouldn't have made it this far.
Carlos: I almost didn't.
Sully: Everybody's out back.
Carlos: Anyone gonna shoot me if I go back there?
Bosco: We didn't shoot you, did we!?
Walsh: Looks like you're having a bad day, Lieu.
Swersky: Very funny.
Finney: What the hell's going on?
Bosco: Anarchy.
Finney: What?
Davis: Somebody attacked the station.
Monroe: There's gotta be another way out of here.
Cruz: There are bars on all the windows.
Monroe: FDNY's out back.
Cruz: Do they know you came in here?
Monroe: They're gonna know pretty damn quick.
Swersky: It's out.
Sully: And no one was seriously hurt.
Jelly: Not exactly. We got a prisoner that ain't gonna make it to court.
Yokas: We do?
Jelly: Yeah. Your child molester.
Yokas: Wow. Maybe there is a God.
Swersky: You have information on this guy? Gotta make a request to Operations---
Bosco: Who gives a damn about that!? Those jagoffs just attacked our house!
Finney: Do we know who they are?
Cruz: Yeah. It was Marcel Hollis and his gang. And it wasn't an attack, it was an escape.
Bosco: Can we talk about that after we take this son of a bitch down? We are going after him, aren't we?
Finney: Oh, hell yeah we are.
Finney: So we won't be a part of it at all.
Swersky: We're gonna be busy enough trying to rebuild this damn house.
Yokas: Bosco...
Cruz: I'll talk to him.
Yokas: You?
Cruz: You two aren't exactly friends, right?
Levine: Hey can I keep your daughter?
Yokas: Keep her?
Levine: Yeah, she was a big help.
Sully: Wanna go see how bad it is.
Swersky: No.
Yokas: I do.
Cruz: Hey! Your eyes all messed up?
Bosco: What?
Cruz: You have trouble seeing?
Bosco: Get away from me...
Cruz: No. If you're gonna do this with me I gotta know the truth.
Bosco: If I'm gonna do what with you?
Cruz: I might be able to find Marcel Hollis. He's gonna be heavily armed.
Bosco: Let's go.
Cruz: Can you see?
Bosco: Yeah.
Cruz: Come with me.
{seeing the damage}
Yokas: Oh my God.
{to Cruz when they go to get Marcel and stop at her apartment}
Bosco: He's in your apartment?
Cruz: I'm not that person, Bosco.
Bosco: What?
Cruz: A talk-first person. It's weakness. No one respects weakness. Even tried religion. Can you believe that? Me, lighting candles and chanting. Crazy.
Bosco: Not really. Can't.
Bosco: Um, where did all this come from?
Cruz: Been on the street 13 years. You never got any weapons?
Bosco: I turned 'em all in.
Cruz: I didn't.
Levine: Yokas just dissed us.
Carlos: I need to talk to you.
Levine: I am so tired of people thinking that EMS is not a worthwhile career...
Carlos: I've been trying all night---
Levine: You know what, we didn't go to medical school, but we have an awful lot of training and do a pretty damn good job out here under very difficult circu---
Carlos: Damn it, Holly, will you marry me!?

Cruz: Marcel Hollis thinks that the only thing keeping street gangs from ruling New York is...organization. Says if they all got together they'd outnumber us.
Bosco: Jagoff.
Cruz: Yeah. Except he's right.
O(308kb)
Cruz: Not expecting one person.
Bosco: One?
Cruz: Yeah. You got a cell phone?
Bosco: Yeah...?
Cruz: What I want you to do is...is watch for the right time and then call for backup.
Bosco: How am I gonna know when you're ready?
Cruz: You'll know.
Bosco: Are you sure?
Cruz: There's no one I'd rather have backing me up.

Cruz: You attacked my precinct last night, Marcel. You started a war.
Marcel: The war started way before last night.
Cruz: I was already gonna let you go.
Marcel: If I cooperated. I decided to dictate my own terms.
Cruz: So why'd you help me? Could've left me there for dead.
Marcel: You a warrior, like me. And warriors...ain't supposed to go out like that.
Cruz: Marcel...Hasn't there been enough blood spilled on the streets?
Marcel: I decide when it's been enough!
Cruz: That's it? That's your final answer?
Marcel: You disappoint me. Just when I thought we was reaching a level of understanding.
Cruz: I can live with your disappointment.
{Cruz pulls the pins on the grenades}
Marcel: What is this?
Cruz: The terms you're dictating. Goodbye, Marcel.

Doc: They said it was an emergency.
Carlos: It kinda is. For me anyway.
Doc: Look, I uh, I don't do those anymore.
Carlos: What?
Doc: You know, the doctors say they stress me out.
Carlos: Oh, no, not that kind of emergency. I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to...
Doc: Carlos, I'm kidding.
Carlos: Well, me and her, we started seeing each other an it got kind of serious...
Doc: So you're not going to a prom?
Carlos: I have to be at the church in an hour.
Doc: You love her?
Carlos: A lot.
Doc: Well then you don't need any advice from me.
{to Doc}
Carlos: I really miss you.
{to Carlos}
Doc: You're gonna be late. And I got a bingo tournament.
Carlos: Doc, I...
Doc: Carlos...It just, you know, it makes this place harder.
Carlos: Bingo tournament?
Doc: I'm the champ.
Doc: Hey...I wish I could be there.
Carlos: Me too.
Bosco: I hope they send me somewhere busy. I couldn't stand some sort of country club thing, you know?
Sully: I know.
Bosco: It's been real, Sully.
Sully: You take care of yourself, Bosco.
Yokas: You think it's gonna feel like it always did?
Bosco: No. What else am I gonna say, hmm? I'll see you out there.
Swersky: You dressed up?
Davis: If you don't dress up for this, what do you dress up for, right?
Monroe: We're going to Carlos' wedding.
Swersky: Tell him I said congratulations.
Finney: "Congratulations"? How about "good luck?" His life's gonna be over in an hour.
Grace: Some people would say his life's just beginning.
Davis: So let's have it.
Swersky: Davis and Finney: you're going to the Anti-Crime unit at the 5-3.
Finney: Oh yeah?
Davis: I told you, man.
Swersky: Sasha: you're going to SoHo. The First Precinct on days.
Monroe: See boys, I'm getting closer and closer to City Hall.
Bosco: Probably end up on the Mayor's detail.
Swersky: Bosco, how's Bed-Stuy sound?
Bosco: Do or die in Bed-Stuy? You know it.
Swersky: 7-9.
Bosco: 7-9. Done.
Yokas: Those are rough streets, Bosco.
Bosco: The rougher the better.
Swersky: You two will be seeing a lot of each other. Detective Yokas is moving to the Major Case Squad.
{about Major Case}
Yokas: They offered it to Jelly first.
Jelly: I got enough drama in my life.
Jelly: How do you have more stuff than me? I been in this office for ten years.
Sully: 'Cause you eat everything that isn't nailed down.
Jelly: You should talk.
Swersky: Sully, you really gonna pull the pin?
Sully: It's time.
Bosco: Come on, Sully. A little Bed-Stuy with Bosco?
Sully: You know, I never worked out of another precinct house. And if I did, it wouldn't be Bed-Stuy. I'm done.

Yokas: Where you going, Boss?
Swersky: Downtown for a while. Push papers. After that, who knows.
Sully: You're gonna go crazy down there.
Swersky: Probably.
Swersky: Before you go I wanna say...being your lieutenant...was the greatest honor of my life. You are all good cops. And I'm grateful to each and every one of you... The Third Watch is dismissed!
O(644kb)
Sully: Listen to Davis. He's got a lot to teach you.
Finney: I will.
Davis: Working with that rookie's not gonna get any easier, is it?
Sully: No.
Davis: Sully, thanks man...Sully...
Sully: Hey, get out of here, you're gonna be late.
Davis: Thank you so much, man...
Sully: Thank you, Ty.

Sully: The 5-5 closed that day. The one I knew anyway. It's being rebuilt ten blocks away. Thing is, the new precinct won't be at the corner of King and Arthur anymore. So there won't be any Camelot. But the idea of Camelot - A place where heroes gather before going out to battle evil - that'll still be alive in whatever building becomes the 5-5. It lives in every police station and every firehouse in the city. Hell, in the country. In the world for that matter.

Sully: Bob Swersky retired as a Deputy Chief. He spends his days playing with his 12 grandkids. Being our boss prepared him for that pretty well. DK took over the squad when Billy Walsh got promoted to Battalion Chief. Stu "Lotta Zs" ended up taking over Jimmy Doherty's rescue squad. Stu, DK, and Walsh saved 17 people one day in a garment factory fire. They all won medals of honor. Carlos and Holly got married. Today they got three kids and a big house on Staten Island. Ty says Carlos is a good father. He finally found the family he always wanted. Ty and Sasha are still seeing each other. They say they're gonna get married once their careers slow down, but I think it's gonna be a while. He's an Anti-Crime lieutenant in charge of half of Manhattan and Sasha's running for the City Council. According to the paper I get up here, she's leading in the polls. Brendan is Lieutenant Davis' sergeant on the Anti-Crime task force. They make a pretty good team. Their troops have more arrests than any team in the city. Grace Foster put three more years on the street and then became an instructor for EMS. She couldn't work in the field anymore, being pregnant and all. In the end her mother was right. She became a teacher. She and Brendan are celebrating their first anniversary next week. When Faith reported to Major Crimes she got a surprise: her boss. Besides leading the department in Homicide clearances, she's never lost her compassion for any case that involves a kid. She and Captain Miller are thinking about moving in together. After Emily finishes college, that is. Maritza Cruz was posthumously awarded the medal of honor. Intelligence estimates that with the amount of firearms recovered from that building she saved numerous lives. Mostly police officers. To this day, somebody places a single rose on her grave every morning. And Bosco? Hell, Bosco's doing the same thing he's always done. Balls out, every day, every job, kicking ass, taking names and being the police. Me? I found my own little piece of heaven. Small cabin 108 feet from a beautiful lake. Nothing but peace and quiet. The only thing I do battle with anymore is the occasional Northern. But I consider myself lucky to have been a part of that brotherhood. Even for a little while.
