EVERYBODY LIES (85) 04/07/2003 9:00p
The Good: Kim, Noble, the truth, Sully, Carlos, Davis. The Bad: Detective "I Smile too Much" Valenzuela, Cruz, Noble, The Bosco/Faith breakup, Nicole's stepfather. And, the creepiest looking person in the episode award goes to: Anthony, Nicole's stepfather.
{Noble has dropped a kid off at the ER and then disappeared}
Kim: Where’d he go?
Doc: What?
Kim: That guy, he’s gone.
Doc: Like the Lone Ranger. Didn’t even wait for a thank you.
Davis: Give him credit, he’s trying.
Sully: Yeah, but you give everybody credit.
Davis: Idle minds right? Devil’s playground.
Sully: I thought that was idle hands.
Davis: How can a hand be a playground?
Sully: And isn’t it workshop?
Davis: Is it?
Sully: I don’t know, you said it.
{to Bosco}
Yokas: Spare me your vast knowledge on raising teenagers.
Bosco: So, is every topic gonna lead back to me and Cruz now?
Yokas: No, just trust.
Bosco: Because what happens between us is none of your business.
Yokas: It would be impossible for me to overstate how uninterested I am in anything that happens between the two of you.
{a car nearly hits their RMP}
Bosco: What are we, invisible?!
{When they first see the overturned armored car}
Yokas {into radio}: We’re gonna need EMS and backup on a rush.
Bosco: Not to mention a shovel and a really big bag.
{Doc and Kim find Noble bleeding in his car}
Doc: What happened?
Aaron Noble: Well, it’s a long story.
{about Noble}
Kim: I’ll bet it’s this huge stab wound that’s his problem.
{Noble is bleeding from a stab wound}
Kim: How’s your breathing?
Aaron Noble: Pretty good, pretty good, yours?
Kim: You lose consciousness at all?
Aaron Noble: Well, once in the 60s. But, ah well, it was the 60s.
Bosco: Oh, this world would be such a better place without people.
Kim: Why would you leave if you were hurt?
Aaron Noble: I don’t know. I get frequent bleeder miles at another hospital.
Kim: Great, more jokes.
Sully: Can I revise my "I’m ready to be here" speech?
{to the people trying to take money from the overturned armored car}
Bosco: Get out of here or I’ll shoot you! You hear me!? Get the hell out of here! I’ll shoot myself.
Aaron Noble: Kim, it was really nice meeting you.
Kim: You have an odd definition of nice.
Aaron Noble: You don’t know the half of it.
{Lt. Johnson has a handful of money}
Lt. Johnson: Sullivan, what do you want me to do with this?
Sully: What am I, a teller?
{Bosco is on top of the overturned armored car}
Bosco: Door won’t open, the handle’s broke, and we got people inside.
Kim: How come we never get the overturned armored car jobs?
Doc: Because we’re lucky.
Kim: Yeah, it would be hard not to accidentally let a few bucks fall into our med bag.
Doc: That’s why we’re lucky.
{to the guy whole ran away with the bag of money and then Maced a cop}
Anti-Crime Officer: Can’t be Macing people, man. That’s just plain rude.
Ramon Valenzuela: Did you see this happen?
Sully: You mean the accident or the multiple acts of looting which followed?
{to Davis about Valenzuela}
Sully: We won’t be able to leave until Dick Tracy here has everything he needs. Evidently he’s really important.
{about Yokas and Bosco}
Ramon Valenzuela: The two cops, where’s they go?
Sully: You know, it’s not my afternoon to keep track of them.
{they are questioning Noble about the person who stabbed him}
Davis: And that is the black guy with the baseball cap?
Aaron Noble: Yeah.
Sully: That narrows it down for us. I wonder what Derek Jeter was doing.
Davis: Yankees are on the road.
Aaron Noble: Mets are still in town.
{about Cruz’s involvement in the loss of the money}
Yokas: We were on our own on this. Uh, she showed up later. She heard the 85 and then she took the collar.
Ramon Valenzuela: So she wasn’t there for the stupid part?
Yokas: Exactly.
Ramon Valenzuela: {to Swersky} Real crack team you got here, Lieu.
Yokas: {to Swersky} We got it sir.
Bosco: {to Swersky, sarcastically} We got it sir. {to Yokas} Kiss up.
Yokas: {to Bosco} Shut-up!
Doc: You talked to her? Why didn’t you say anything?
Kim: Like what, "Nicole’s awake and she just accused the guy sitting next to you of touching her"?
{to Bosco, about Cruz}
Yokas: Well, at least you know you’re working with an experienced officer.
Aaron Noble: Today was the most fun I’ve ever had on a stretcher. And believe me, I’ve been on more than a few.
Bosco: {to Yokas} What are talking about? I wasn’t listening.
Yokas: {to Bosco} Of course not. {to the Woman she is questioning, after Bosco leaves} What was I thinking?
Anthony: We’re not through.
Kim: I’m not hard to find. {Anthony walks away} Where are you going? Afraid of what she’ll say?
{Davis gives Carlos some good news and Carlos starts hugging him}
Davis: Take it easy. We’re in public.
Carlos: Right. Right.
Bosco: I’m through justifying myself to you.
Yokas: And I’m through carrying around a three-year old.
Bosco: Right, I’m one of your kids.
Yokas: No, you couldn’t be one of my kids. My kids are mature.
Bosco: No, I couldn’t be one of your kids because I actually see you.
