CRIME AND PUNISHMENT: PART II (76) 12/09/2002 9:00p
Cruz was fun, but now she's way less fun. She's more fun than ambulance accidents, but not nearly as fun as the new, less fun Sully. Carlos is temporarliy less fun than usual. Chief Hancock is temporarily more fun than usual.

Kim: They’re shooting people in the ambulance now?

{about the ambulance being shot at}
Carlos: They don’t pay us for this.

{about Vernon}
Cruz: Here’s what he’s gonna do. He’s gonna take his beating, he’s gonna collect his million dollar settlement the city gives him, while they take your entire future away.
Bosco: I can live with that.

Cruz: I’m having a bad day, Dell. And when that happens, you have a worse day.

Bosco: I thought I knew what I was doing out here, but I guess I don’t.
Cruz: Smartest thing I heard you say.

{about Lavonne’s girlfriend}
Cruz: Next time just hit the bitch.

{about the counselor}
Fred: She’s just someone to talk to.
Emily: Really? We mostly just stare at each other.

{about how Doc has Joy to talk to}
Carlos: All I have is Davis. I mean, he’s a good guy, but he’s no woman.

Nancy: You’re not like the rest of the cops.
Davis: Why? ‘Cause I read a book?
Nancy: Because you still haven’t stopped believing that the good guys always win and the bad guys always lose. It’s sweet. Really.

{about what he did when the ambulance was shot at}
Doc: I’m supposed to be the paramedic of the year, but what I did was duck.

Carlos: Are you complimenting me?
Doc: Hell, no.
Carlos: Right.

{arresting Vernon}
Bosco: Look at ‘em Vernon. Look at ‘em. They’re all out here to watch you fall. And they can’t wait for you to be gone. Forever. You hear me? For good. You’ll be forgotten in a week, because of one little boy. One little boy who had the stones to stand up to you. He’s twice the man you’ll ever be.

Davis: I don’t know. I mean, you think I’m gonna go to the press, talk about Nancy, ruin things for you, right? Hey, I mean, that’s the last thing I’d ever want to do, but you mess with Sullivan, trust me…I’ll do it in a heartbeat.
Chief Hancock: You’re threatening me? For him?
Davis: No sir. I’m just looking out for my best friend.

Chief Hancock: You are a real pain in the ass, Davis.
Davis: From you, sir, that’s kind of a compliment.

Yokas: I don’t think anything is worth terrorizing children over.
Bosco: These people shot a 12-year-old kid in the back of an ambulance.
